Chapter III.4. Image processing using wavelets on a parallel computer
In this section, we shall write a small MPI/OpenMP application to
- load an image from a large PNG file on several MPI processes,
- compute the wavelet transform of the image in parallel,
- do some statistics on the wavelet coefficients,
- denoise the image
- write the results using parallel HDF5
